Dunkin' Donuts Gets Makeover, Causes Coolatta Crisis

Cedar Grove location temporarily closed for renovations.

The bad news is that Cedar Grove has been without Dunkin' Donuts iced coffee, Hot Chocolate Coolattas and jelly Munchins  for a day and a half.

The good news is the shop at the corner of Pompton and Bradford avenues is getting a makeover and contractors on the scene said the plan is to reopen Friday after being closed for just two days.

Customers who weren't clued in about the renovations pulled in and out Wednesday afternoon left in need of a caffeine and sugar fix.

Dunkin' Donuts devotees can still head over the hill to the Valley Road location in Montclair.

The makeover includes the interior and exterior of the restaurant.

Who else makes good iced coffees in Cedar Grove and Verona? And what other businesses would you like to see get a renovation? Tell us in the comments.
