Verona Students Star in 'Guys & Dolls'

Catch a Broadway classic for $10 at Verona High School.

More than 60 students ranging in age from 9 to 16 will appear in Verona Summer Music’s production of Guys & Dolls.

Performances are on 
Thursday and Friday, July 25 and 26, at 7:30 p.m., in the Verona High School Auditorium
.

Tickets are $10. All seats are reserved and tickets will be available daily from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the VHS auditorium. Tickets will also be sold at the door the night of the performances.

The show is directed and choreographed by Jen Faliveno. Musical director is John Priori. The Verona Summer Music program is under the direction of Max Morden.

This year’s leads are: Gabe Riccitelli as Nathan Detroit; Grace Gault as Miss Adelaide; Alex Fiedler as 
Sky Masterson; Amanda Morden as Sarah Brown; Colin Vega as Nicely Nicely Johnson; Mia Corbett as Rusty Charlie; Kate Ryan as Benny Southstreet; and Maeve McGinley as Lt. Brannigan.

Students have been rehearsing for four hours daily for four weeks to put together a show chockfull of signing and dancing, as well as gambling.

This “junior” version of the show is suitable for all audiences.

Verona High School is located at 151 Fairview Ave.
