To celebrate Valentine’s Day and to say thank you to the community, The Friends of the Verona Public Library are giving away free romance novels during the week of Valentine’s Day.  Beginning on Sunday, Feb. 10 and running through Saturday, Feb. 16, members of the Verona community can stop by the Verona Public Library to pick up their free book! Both hardcovers and paperbacks will be included in this giveaway.

Coaches Vs. Cancer

Both the girls and boys JCHS Varsity basketball teams will have games to benefit the American Cancer Society (ACS). The organization with the ACS that we are participating through is called “Coaches vs Cancer”. 

The girls game (against Cedar Grove) is at 2 p.m., and the boys game (against Butler) is at 3:30 p.m. Both games take place at JCHS.

The Montclair High School crew team will host its eighth annual silent auction and tricky tray at Montclair High School in the Ninth Grade Academy cafeteria from 6-9 p.m.

French Cooking Workshop

Join FIAF Montclair and Suzanne Michaud, founder and executive chef of Comfort Food Kitchen for a workshop in French devoted to the long-standing tradition of fine French cuisine. Learn how to cook a delicious, winter French meal while practicing key French terms.
