Tenors Kick Off Concerts in the Square

The Civic Center in Verona will transform into a music venue for the next three Wednesdays.

This week, the 2013 Concerts in the Square series starts with a performance by "3 Po' Tenors." Julian, Anthony and Ted will lend their signature sound to show tunes and classical music selections.

On July 17, "The Greats of the 88s Show" features Verona native Bobby Lynch playing piano hits by Billy Joel, Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Little Richard and more.  

Bruce Springsteen cover act, "The B Street Band", will be featured on July 24. 

The series concludes on August 21 with a concert for Verona residents that will turn Verona Pool into a Tropical Island. Party band Alotta Colada plays Marley, Jimmy Buffet and more.

All concerts begin at 7 p.m. Bring your own blankets, beach chairs and picnics.
