Jay Mohr Apologizes For Alyssa Milano Baby-Fat Shaming

Comedian from Verona says his comments weren't funny.

Actor, comic and radio show host Jay Mohr released a statement Friday apologizing to actress Alyssa Milano for pejorative comments made on her post-baby body during a recent interview.

Mohr, who graduated from Verona High School where he was known as J.J., said he was "very sorry" for the cracks at her physical appearance.

"I had thought in that improvisational moment (incorrectly), that the incongruousness of my statements, when held up to the light of how beautiful she is, would have been funny. IT WASN’T," Mohr said on his Facebook page, where the complete apology is posted.

The comments came after the two appeared at the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion's Awards hosted by Mohr in Las Vegas in early December.

Milano was one of the presenters. “It seems like she had a baby and said, ‘I don’t really give a s**t’ ... I read it on her gut," Mohr said, according to a story on Huffington Post.

Milano, 41, kept it classy by responding to Mohr's comments on her physical appearance with a Tweet: "So sorry you felt the need to publicly fat-shame me. Be well and God Bless. Please send my love to your beautiful wife."

Mohr, 43, is currently the host of Jay Mohr Sports, a daily sports radio talk show on Fox Sports Radio.

He was a featured player on Saturday Night Live in the mid-1990s and played sleazy sports agent Bob Sugar in Jerry Maguire.

What do you think of Mohr's apology? Is it enough? Why, why not or who cares?
