Hall chooses cottages, castles and churches as the center of attention in many of her paintings. She finds pictures in books, such as the Neuschwanstein Castle in Munich, Germany – which she has used a few times as a focal point – and creates the rest of her composition from imagination.

In her award-winning painting, "Beyond the Bridge," a wooden bridge is the center of attention, surrounded by trees, a lake and mountains in the distance.

The artwork will be on exhibit from Thursday, May 24 through July 24.
