Cedar Grove Winter Concert Begins at 7 p.m.

A bake sale and gold and silver-buying fundraiser will be held prior to the concert.

Cedar Grove High School will kick-off its annual Winter Concert tonight at 7 p.m.

This year's theme is “Wherever You Are,” featuring performances from the concert band, concert orchestra, concert choir and select choir.

“This year's program will include selections ranging from early Renaissance music to contemporary ballads, and will end with a combined group performance of 'A Classic Christmas,'” said Barbara Silber, Parent Publicity Volunteer for Cedar Grove High School Music Matters.

A bake sale will take place before the concert and during intermission.

A gold and silver-buying fundraiser will be held before the concert starting at 4 p.m. and running to 6:15 p.m, sponsored by Cedar Grove High School's Music Matters Association, the Cedar Grove Chamber of Commerce and Treasures Unlimited Jewelers in Cedar Grove.

“Anyone interested in selling gold and silver jewelry, gold and silver coins, and dental gold is invited to stop by and receive a confidential consultation and appraisal in a pressure-free environment,” Music Matters said in a written statement. “On-site security will be provided and a portion of the profits will benefit the CGHS Music Department.”
