Community Corner

Community Update

On behalf of the Junior Woman’s Club of
Verona, we would like to thank the community for supporting our recent
fundraiser.  During the Verona fireworks
on July 2, we were able to raise $858 for The Seeing Eye.

We would also like to take this opportunity to
give special thanks to Alicia and her team from Hair @ Alicia’s in Montclair
who volunteered their services during the fundraiser. They did a great job, and
the fundraiser would not have been as successful without them. In addition, we
want to thank Jim Cunningham and the Verona Recreation Department for their
support and assistance.

The Verona Juniors are pleased to be able to
donate to The Seeing Eye, which provides specially bred and trained dogs
to guide people who are blind.
