Community Update

Packs with Purpose

Did you know that there are families
within our community who will struggle to purchase the items their children
will need to begin school this fall? The Junior Woman’s Club of Verona is
working hard to change that, but we need your help! Our goal is to provide
backpacks, filled with supplies, to these families!

You can help by donating an item or
two from our Wish List which can be found on our website or by
making a donation online at http://www.veronajuniors.org/packs-with-purpose.html. All donations are tax deductible. A drop box will be set
up at the Verona Community Center beginning July 15th. If you have items and
would like us to pick them up, please email us at info@veronajuniors.org.

The Junior Woman’s Club of Verona is a versatile organization that has been
involved in social and charitable work since its inception in 1926. The Juniors
address Verona's diverse needs by promoting education, preserving natural
resources, encouraging healthy lifestyles, working on behalf of the elderly and
people with disabilities, supporting participation in the arts and advocating
for issues of concern to women, children and families.

Anyone interested in learning more about this very active organization of women
is welcome to contact membership@veronajuniors.org.  Prospective members also are welcome at
business meetings, which are held the second Wednesday of each month (except
April, July, August and December) at 8 p.m. in the Verona Community Center. For
