Thrift Shop Open for Holiday Shoppers, Share Your Light Night Rescheduled

What's happening in Verona and Cedar Grove on Tuesday.

Patch has put together some things you need to know for Tuesday. 

The Thrift Shop in Fellowship Hall of First Presbyterian Church of Verona, 10 Fairview Ave., will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Gently used items (including holiday decorations) are available at reasonable prices. 

The 5th Annual Share Your Light Night, which was postponed over the weekend due to snow, has been rescheduled to Saturday, Dec. 21. The holiday tradition is sponsored by the Verona Woman’s Club and Juniorettes

Later This Week

The Cedar Grove High School Winter Concert will take place Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the school.

The Verona Environmental Commission will meet Wednesday in the Verona Community CenterConference Room at 7:30 p.m.

Children are invited to make loom bracelets in holiday colors at theVerona Public Library on Thursday at 3:15 p.m. Bring your own board! Space is limited and pre-registration is recommended. Call 973-857-4848.

Verona Voices, formerly the Verona Cedar Grove Chorus, will present its Winter Concert on Friday at 8 p.m., at the Verona Community Center, 880 Bloomfield Ave. (Please note venue change.)

Save the date: The Cedar Grove High School Lip Sync 2014 will take place on Jan. 10. Tickets are now on sale — and won't be available at the door.
