Yoga and Running both build strength and stamina, and they play nice together. Running is great cardio and tones the lower body while Yoga develops length and flexibility.
This summer add a new dimension to your fitness regime. Begin and end your Tuesday evening run at Starseed Verona, followed by a 1-hour yoga class especially designed to address the needs of runners.
You’ll receive instruction on the essential yoga poses for tone and flexibility and guidance on the key yoga poses for runners.
Each week the essential areas of tightness for runners … lower back, hamstrings, calves, while achy hips, knees and feet will be addressed PLUS focus on strengthening the core and upper body. What you will get each week when you register for the series:
- Warm up and led run (approximately 3 miles) from 7:00-7:45PM
- Yoga from 8:00-9:00PM
- Receive weekly emails on each yoga class
- End the series with an individualized yoga sequence
- A surprise gift!
