To celebrate Valentine’s Day and to say thank you to the community, The Friends of the Verona Public Library are giving away free romance novels during the week of Valentine’s Day. Beginning on Sunday, February 10th, and running through Saturday, February 16th, members of the Verona community can stop by the Verona Public Library to pick up their free book! Both hardcovers and paperbacks will be included in this give away.
“The Friends are offering these romance novels as a thank you to the Verona community for supporting our annual book sale,” said volunteer Christine McGrath. “This year’s very successful book sale demonstrates that the community shares our affection for the Library and appreciates the impact it has on our community.”
If you are interested in becoming a member of the Friends, feel free to stop by the Verona Public Library for an enrollment form or visit the Library’s website at www.veronalibrary.org.
The Verona Public Library is open from 9 am to 9 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, 9 am to 5 pm on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and 2 pm to 5 pm on Sundays.
