Governor, County Exec. to Host Turtle Back Zoo's 50th Anniversary Event

Gala dinner takes place in West Orange this week.

DiVincenzo Jr. host the Essex County Turtle Back Zoo Gold Tie 50th Anniversary Gala Dinner, which takes place Wednesday evening at West Orange's Pleasantdale Chateau. Let's YO!, Pudsters Will Open Their Doors in June

The frozen yogurt franchise and burger restaurant will share building that once housed Friendly's Restaurant.

The wait for Let’s YO! and Pudsters to open down Bloomfield Avenue in West Caldwell is nearly over.  The frozen yogurt shop and old fashioned burger restaurant is expected to open their shared doors at the former Friendly’s Restaurant location, at 632 Bloomfield Ave., on June 15, said Fishman Public Relations Senior Account Executive Jayne Levy by email.  The Let’s YO! in West Caldwell, which will serve dozens of flavors of frozen yogurt, toppings and offers iPad tablets for customers to play on, will be the newest location for the franchise, which has more than 20 locations in New Jersey.  The former Friendly’s building has been vacant since the restaurant served its final meal in October 2011. DeCamp Ordered to Remove Advance Notice for Wheelchair Access Language

U.S. Justice Department reaches settlement with Montclair-based bus company over ADA violation.

The U.S. Department of Justice announced Wednesday it has reached a settlement With DeCamp Bus Lines over a violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Montclair-based DeCamp has 30 days to comply with the terms of the settlement, which include removing any mentions on the bus company’s website and schedules which indicate a passenger needs to give 48 hours notice to obtain a wheelchair-accessible bus. While all DeCamp’s buses are wheelchair-accessible as required by law, and advanced notification was not needed, the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey found the bus company in violation of ADA requirements after a compliance review was performed …

Because this company is the WORST. They are in violation of the law, they do NOT need any notice. PERIOD. Clear as day, no need to be confused. THEY are confused, and have very poor customer service and other bad habits. (I happen to live right behind the terminal.) NJ Collegiate Career Day to Host More Than 150 Employers

Entry level and experienced job seekers are invited to attend the job fair on May 30.

Graduates! Now that you have that degree, are you unsure what to do next? Grab your resumes and head to the New Jersey Collegiate Career Day on Thursday, May 30 at Rutgers University.
