Shopping at a farmers' market is a great way to meet local farmers and get fresh, flavorful produce.
The thought of summertime brings a few things immediately to mind: warm weather, no school and Farmer's Markets.

This market has an assortment of organic food, fruits, crafts, vegetables and local specialties.
Caldwell Farmers Market
Municipal lot between Smull and Personette (behind the Caldwell Cinema),
Fridays, Noon to 6 p.m., beginning June 29.
The market is a seasonal open air market featuring Jersey fresh produce in season as well as specialty vendors offering farm raised meats, locally produced cheeses, pies, breads and other fresh baked goods, gourmet nuts, olive oils, freshly made pastas, and prepared foods.

Millburn Farmers Market

Farmers returning again this summer are: Alstede Farms (USDA certified organic grower), E&R Organic (USDA certified organic grower), Ort Farms and Vacchiano Farms. Specialty vendors returning again this summer are: Dr. Pickle, Gina’s Bakery, Hoboken Farms and Paolo’s Kitchen. Guest chefs from many wonderful restaurants in town will host tastings at the market throughout the summer. Also featured is a variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, baked goods, eggs, meat, frozen entrees, pickled products, herbs, honey and jams.
