Families and friends gathered at Verona Veteran's Day Celebration at the Verona Town Hall.
Officials, including Mayor Frank Sapienza, and soldiers recited the Pledge of Allegiance. Sapienza addressed the crowd, then laid a wreath at the township's war memorial before the Verona Band Jazz Ensemble performed.
Verona resident Dan Molloy honored the veterans by performing Taps as part of the ceremony.
