Verona Police Investigating Daytime Burglary

Police seek information from public on home burglary.

 

Verona Police are investigating a Wednesday burglary and are looking to the public for leads.

The front door of a Linden Avenue home, close to Cumberland Avenue, was kicked in sometime between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27, police said.

Verona Chief of Police Douglas Huber could not be reached for comment and it is unknown what was taken as of Thursday afternoon.

Police are urging residents to call the Verona Police Department at 973-239-5000 with any information.

All calls will be kept confidential, police said.
