This Week Ahead in Verona and Cedar Grove

Cedar Grove council and Verona Planning Board meetings this week.

 

This week ahead in Verona and Cedar Grove, there are only two meetings scheduled in the towns.

Both Verona's Township Council and Board of Education are off until the first week of May and Cedar Grove's Board of Education has no more scheduled meetings for this school year.

For meetings, tonight kicks off with the Cedar Grove Township Council meeting. The council meets at 7 p.m. in council chambers. An agenda is attached.

On Thursday, the Verona Planning Board has its monthly meeting beginning at 7:30 p.m. at the Verona Community Center, 880 Bloomfield Ave. See the attached PDF for the agenda.

Life After Loss Support Group

Time For Tots

Time for Tots is an informal group of Moms and Dads who get together while our children play. Time for Tots allows your children to get out of the house and play with other children, while giving you some much needed "adult time."  No sign-up or fee involved.

Verona Live Walking Club

Wednesday 10 a.m.
Join a lively group of walkers on Thursday from 10 a.m -11 a.m. in the VCC gym for exercise and walking. New members welcome.

Cedar Grove Historical Society Meeting

Did you know that E PLURIBUS UNUM was first used on a coin when it graced a copper coin struck by the authority of the state of New Jersey in 1786?  Join us at the next meeting of the Cedar Grove Historical Society to hear Ray Williams, a former Cedar Grove resident, present a program entitled New Jersey Coinage 1786-1788. 

Neighbors Helping Neighbors Meeting

Neighbors-helping-Neighbors (NhN), is a free highly successful and recognized grassroots organization offering local library based weekly meetings that are peer-led by volunteers to provide support and networking for people actively seeking employment.
