This Week Ahead in Verona and Cedar Grove

Verona council, Cedar Grove BOE, council to meet this week.

 

This week ahead in Verona and Cedar Grove, the two towns are light on meetings with only the Cedar Grove Board of Education meeting. 

Tonight starts off the week with the Verona and Cedar Grove township councils set to meet.

First up, the Verona Township Council Meeting is scheduled to meet at 7 p.m in the Verona Civic Center, 600 Bloomfield Ave. Check out the attached PDF for the agenda.

The Cedar Grove Township Council is also scheduled to meet tonight at 7 p.m. in council chambers. Please see the attached agenda.

The Cedar Grove Board of Education will meet Tuesday night at 8 p.m. at the North End School.

Cedar Grove Library hosts a Knitting Club. All are welcome.

Time For Tots
Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School, 26 Lakeside Ave., Verona
Tuesday  9:30 a.m.
Time for Tots is an informal group of Moms and Dads who get together while our children play. Time for Tots allows your children to get out of the house and play with other children, while giving you some much needed "adult time."  No sign-up or money involved.

Afternoon Movie: Snow Flower and the Secret Fan

A story set in 19th century China and centered on the lifelong friendship between two girls who develop their own secret code as a way to contend with the rigid cultural norms imposed on women.

Verona Live Walking Club

Join a lively group of walkers on Thursdays from 10 a.m.-11 a.m. in the Verona Community Center gym for exercise and walking. New members welcome.

Neighbors Helping Neighbors Meeting

Neighbors-helping-Neighbors (NhN), is a free highly successful and recognized grassroots organization offering local library based
weekly meetings that are peer-led by volunteers to provide support and

Verona Park Conservancy Monthly Meeting

The Verona Park Conservancy is a public, non-profit organization that is dedicated to working with the Essex County Parks Department and the public to maintain, beautify and improve Verona Park's appearance and facilities for the enjoyment of present and future generations. Verona Park Conservancy Monthly meetings are held the 3rd Thursday each month from 7:30-8:30pm in the Verona Park Boathouse. All are welcome.
