Cedar Grove Council, BOE in Session This Week

Verona council, board of education will conduct business next month and in August, respectively.

 


Cedar Grove's Township Council and board of education plan public sessions this week, while Verona's Township Council stands in recess until July 16 and Verona's Board of Education will conduct business until Aug. 28, officials in the towns said.

Cedar Grove's council will meet at 7 p.m. tonight at the municipal complex, 525 Pompton Ave. (Route 23). An agenda is attached as a pdf.

Cedar Grove's board of education will meet for a public session at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26. An agenda is attached as a pdf.

Cedar Grove Library Exhibits Work of Local Artist, Frances Hall

The artwork will be on exhibit through July 24.
An art major in college, Hall has been practicing her craft for over 40 years. Working in opaque watercolors, the exhibit will feature 13 pieces painted between 2002 and 2011.   

Time For Tots

Time for Tots is an informal group of Moms and Dads who get together while our children play. Time for Tots allows your children to get out of the house and play with other children, while giving you some much needed "adult time." No sign-up or money involved.

Beginning Computer Training

An introduction class for those with little or no computer experience. Topics covered: Beginning E-mail, Register for a free e-mail account, Microsoft Word and Master the basics of typing and formatting a document. Topics vary each week based on individual need. Zumba Fitness Class

Neighbors Helping Neighbors Meeting

Verona Park Conservancy Monthly Meeting

The Verona Park Conservancy is a public, non-profit organization that is dedicated to working with the Essex County Parks Department and the public to maintain, beautify and improve Verona Park's appearance and facilities for the enjoyment of present and future generations.
