On April 26, Batchmakers Ice Cream, 481 Pompton Ave. in Cedar Grove, held a fund-raiser for South End School in Cedar Grove.

Teachers and staff from the school served ice cream, and students and their families showed up en masse to enjoy.

Thanks to the generosity of owner Joe Gasparino and the hard work of the faculty, the school raised $643.38.
