Rummage Sale Benefits Orphaned Pets

Upcoming fundraisers and adoption days.

 

Orphaned Pets is holding its annual spring rummage sale on Friday and Saturday, April 13 and 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Cedar Grove Community Church. The church is located at 65 Bowden Road in Cedar Grove.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit Orphaned Pets, which rescues and provides foster homes to dogs and cats. Based in West Essex, Orphaned Pets has helped care for and place homeless animals in permanent homes for more than 20 years.

Another upcoming fundraiser is a bake sale at the West Caldwell ShopRite on Passaic Avenue. The bake sale is scheduled for Saturday, April 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Baked goods for humans, as well as homemade dog biscuits, will be for sale along with Orphaned Pets magnets, t-shirts and sweatshirts and pet supplies.

Orphaned Pets holds adoption days ever Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the following PETCO locations.

  • 1st and 2nd Saturday of the Month, PETCO, 339 Pompton Ave., Verona
  • 3rd Saturday of the Month, PETCO, Route 46 West, Totowa
  • 4th Saturday of the Month, PETCO, Route 46 East, Parsippany
