President Obama's Eligibility Challenged
Two men, including a Monmouth County resident, are challenging President Barack Obama's placement on the state's primary ballot.
Two New Jersey residents, including one from Monmouth County, are challenging President Barack Obama's place on the state's primary ballot, according to the Bayshore Tea Party Group.
Nick Purpura, of Monmouth County, has filed a challenge along with Ocean County resident Ted Moran alleging Obama has never shown adequate proof he was born in the United States - despite the release of a longform birth certificate by the White House in April 2011 - and his father was never a citizen of the United States, meaning Obama is not a natural born citizen, at least according to their interpretation of the Constitution.
The challenge will be heard by an administrative law judge Tuesday at the Administrative Law Offices in Quakerbridge and the Bayshore Group has asked those interested in attending to consider carpooling - a cost effective and environmentally friendly mode of travel.
The primary election is scheduled for June 5.
The petition, which was uploaded to the the document-sharing site Scribd, cites sources that include World Net Daily, Sheriff Joe Arpaio, the controversial elected sheriff of Maricopa County, Az., and videos posted on YouTube as evidence why Obama may not be eligible to be this country's president.
From the petition:
"Candidate Obama has not conclusively proven his identity and he is perpetrating a fraud upon Objector Purpora (sic) and Moran by not revealing his true identity which is harmful to their rights as voters and citizens. The objection to Candidate Obama's nominating petition is twofold. We first allege that he has not conclusively proven that he was born in the United States. We also allege that even if he was born in the United States, he is still not an Article II "natural born Citizen" because he fails to meet the requirements of the traditional American common law definition of the clue which is a child born in the country to two U.S. citizen parents."

Nick Purpura and Ted Moran are wasting people's time and tax payers' dollars by perpetuating this myth regarding the President. They're probably just looking for a little attention to enhance their lives.

No matter what they naysayers might be spitting out and even if he was born in a state his social security card numbers don't match to him. beyond that, it is clear in the writings of the founders of our nation the definition of the constitutional clause "Natural Born", in two supreme court cases late 1800's and another in early 1900's, as well in speeches given on the floor of the house during the ratification of the 14th amendment by the 3 leading authors of that amendment that, the definition is a person born of two American Citizens at the time of birth. The myth is that it could be any other scenario than this. The notes taken during the ratification leaves no room for the imagination on this issue. It also leaves no debate that their ever could be anything known as an anchor baby. Sorry folks, but try reading just a little un-taught early American history.
