Pet of the Week: Lucy the Schnauzer

An 8-year-old silver miniature Schnauzer is available for adoption from Orphaned Pets.

Lucy is an 8-year-old silver miniature Schnauzer. She is missing a hind leg and has cataracts, but that doesn't slow her down at all. She is a very sweet dog, but high strung so she needs to be in a quiet home with no children and no dogs smaller than her. She weighs in at 18 lbs. and does get along with dogs her size and larger and also has no problem with cats. Lucy walks well on a leash, is crate trained, up-to-date on vaccinations and housebroken. She loves to sit on your lap or beside you in your chair, will settle for nothing less than sleeping in your bed and is a great cuddler!
