Our Lady of the Lake School Holding Open House

Register for September 2011 on Nov. 7

Our Lady of the Lake School, 26 Lakeside Ave. in Verona, is already planning for September and will host an Open House for pre-3 to 8th Grade from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 7.

Many options are available for pre-school aged children. They have a choice of up to
five days a week, or through lunch and enrichment until 2:30 p.m. dismissal, or aftercare until 6 p.m.

Our Lady of the Lake School also offers a full-day kindergarten. Children who will be five years old by Oct. 1 can be registered for kindergarten during this period. The primary grades are self-contained, leading to increased levels of independent thinking in preparation for the departmental programs of the upper grades.

Our Lady of the Lake School is fully accredited by the Middle States Association of
Colleges and Schools. The school is committed to providing quality education in a
caring, value-oriented safe environment, where positive moral values are emphasized.

The school offers before and after-care programs and a variety of extracurricular
activities. Computer rooms, internet access, science lab, earth literacy, foreign language instruction, music, art, wellness and physical education programs enhance the curriculum. Students in the upper grades have achieved many awards through participation in the Junior Forensics League (Public Speaking), volleyball and G.I.L. Basketball League.

Visitors to the Open House will have the opportunity to visit classrooms and talk with teachers about the curriculum and their educational philosophy and goals. For more information, visit myoll.org or call the office at 973-239-1160.
