The Passaic Valley Sewerage Commission recently held a tour of the Newark facility for municipal officials from 48 member municipalities.

The Wednesday facility tour, led by PVSC Executive Director Wayne J. Forrest, included mayors, council members, business administrators, municipal engineers, DPW superintendents and other officials from 48 municipalities.

The guided bus tour of the more than 140-acre Newark facility allowed officials to learn firsthand the complex science involved in treating more than 330-million gallons per day of wastewater.

The tour allowed officials to speak with PVSC officials about the financial operations and long-term management and vision of the commission.

Mr. Wayne J. Forrest, Executive Director of the PVSC is presently being sued by over a half dozen plus PVSC former employees for age discrimination. What a great judge this man will make.
