To the Editor:

On behalf of the members of the Cedar Grove Ambulance and Rescue Squad, I would like express our sincere gratitude to everyone  who took the time to join us at our Family Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, April 10. We very much enjoyed getting to know the people that our organization serves, and hope they enjoyed getting to know us, while also getting the opportunity to see our building, vehicles and equipment.

We also wish to thank the Cedar Grove Police Department, Cedar Grove Fire Department, and Township Manager Tom Tucci for their constant help and support in all our endeavors. They were instrumental in making our event the great success that it was. A very special thank you is in order for the Cedar Grove Elks, especially Mike Grabas, without whose time, talents and generosity this event would not have been possible.

We hope everyone will join us once again for our next community event, which will be held on Sunday, May 15, from 12-5 p.m. at the Squad building, in commemoration of EMS Week. We very much look forward to these opportunities to spend more time with the residents of our community, so that we can not only get to know each other, but also be able to provide a clearer understanding of the services we provide.

Thanks again, and we're looking forward to seeing everyone on the 15th!
