Church leaders and congregants of all faiths gathered last night at 8 p.m. at the Tzu Chi Buddhist Foundation temple in Cedar Grove for an evening of unity, where people of different beliefs came together under the same roof and worshipped side by side.

The temple, located at 150 Commerce Road, hosted the township's 10th annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Service with leaders of more than half a dozen local parishes, including the Community Church of Cedar Grove, St Catherine of Siena, United Presbyterian Church, Saints Kirl and Metodij Macedonian Orthodox Church, Temple Sholom of West Essex, St. Mark's Coptic Orthodox Church and the United Presbyterian Church.
