Our Lady of the Lake School hosted their annual ice cream social on Friday, Sept. 14 to kick off the academic school year.
The purpose of the mixer is to allow families to meet and let new families get introduced to the school.
Ice cream for the social was donated by Gelotti's Ice Cream on Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell.
The event, which was free to families for the first time, drew more than 400 people.
