Hotel California Concert Cancelled by Weather Forecast

Wednesday night free concert for Verona residents rescheduled for Monday, July 23 at 7 p.m.

Verona Police Chief Douglas Huber announced Wednesday afternoon the "Hotel California" Concert scheduled for tonight at 7 p.m. at the Civic Center Square, has been cancelled.
Huber said the cancellation has been caused by weather concerns including forecasts of lightning and heavy rains today and tonight.
The concert has been rescheduled for Monday, July 23 at 7 p.m.

The Verona Summer Concert Series continues this week with a concert by “Hotel California,” an Eagles tribute band playing covers of the Grammy Award-winning group.

For two decades the group as reproduced the sounds of the Eagles and tomorrow night at 7 p.m. Verona residents will be treated to a free concert as the group showcases their hits on songs like “Take It Easy,” “Heartache Tonight” and “Hotel California.”

Sponsored by Investors Bank, the concert will take place at the Civic Center Square.
