Looking to get out of the house this weekend?  Well, sports fans, this Sunday is the big event: Super Bowl XLV!  Several local establishments are hosting Super Bowl events, so put on your team colors and head to one (or more!) of the following:

Verona Community Center:  (880 Bloomfield Ave, Verona)      Start the day off with a hearty breakfast and a good deed.  The Cedar Grove Elks are sponsoring a Super Bowl Pancake Breakfast to benefit the Verona Rescue Squad.  For $5 per person, eat all the Pancakes, Eggs, Bacon, Taylor Ham, Sausage, Coffee & OJ that you can.  Begins at 8am and continues until 1pm.

O’Neil’s Restaurant & Pub: (706 Bloomfield Ave, Verona)     O'Neil’s has 11 big screen televisions that will all be showing the big game.  Beer specials and give-aways will add to the party atmosphere.

The Grasshopper:  (292 Grove Ave, Cedar Grove)     The Grasshopper also has big screen TV’s throughout and is offering a free half-time buffet.

Avenue Bistro Pub:  (558 Bloomfield Ave, Verona)    The Avenue Bistro Pub will honor Happy Hour pricing throughout the game, with free wings and sandwiches at half-time.  Four big TV’s around the bar will keep the game in view.
