Congressman Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-11th District) spent time on Wednesday afternoon visiting small businesses on Bloomfield Avenue in Verona with Chamber of Commerce President Steve Amadeo and Deputy Mayor Bob Manley.

“Small business is the engine of the real economy,” said Frelinghuysen said. “Many business owners said they want the federal government ‘off their backs’ and less regulations and mandates.”

Frelinghuysen greeted employees and customers of several area businesses and reassured them that he would work to do everything in his power to enact common sense reforms to the business tax code, champion pro-growth policies and get America’s businesses hiring again.

Frelinghuysen will face Democrat John Arvanites in November’s elections.
