Free Puppet Shows at Kip's Castle
Two free puppet shows, for children 7 and younger, will be held on October 6 at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. at Kip's Castle.
The Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs will be hosting two children’s puppet shows at Kip's Castle on October 6.
The first show, Puppet Jamz will begin at 2 p.m. and the second show, Funny Farm, starts at 3 p.m. Each presentation will be 30 minutes in length. Since the shows are outdoors, visitors are encourgaged to bring chairs or blankets.
The shows are free to all families and appropriate for children up to seven years of age.
“We are always looking for innovative programs that are fun and educational for our youth as well as new opportunities for the public to experience our historic Essex County Park System,” said Essex County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr. “We invite families and their young children to attend our puppet shows at Kip’s Castle Park for an enjoyable afternoon activity.”
