Fox Point and Bayside don't have their own fireworks shows, but we've got a comprehensive list of where you can find fireworks displays nearby.

Get your beach chairs, blankets, and maybe some earplugs ready, because July 4th fireworks are coming to Verona and Cedar Grove.

The sky will light up with a colorful display, commemorating our nation's independence, dazzling spectators and probably frightening a few pets, too.

Cedar Grove fireworks will begin at dusk on tonight. In the event of rain, the fireworks will be rescheduled for dusk tomorrow.

“All locations at the high school are excellent,” said Cedar Grove Township Manager Tom Tucci. “If you can get there early, you can get a closer spot and be sure to bring your own beach chair.”

Verona's fireworks will also be held on tonight at the Verona High School field. DJ entertainment begins at 7 p.m. with fireworks being set off at dusk. In the event of rain, fireworks will be rescheduled for the same time tomorrow.

Verona's summer concert series also kicks off on Wednesday at the town pool. Performances by the Verona-based band, Alotta Colada, will begin at 7 p.m.

“The sounds of the summer and the Islands come alive with this entertaining band. They are comprised of an all-star lineup of seasoned musicians of Verona residents. The music is timeless and the party never stops,” according to a news release.

The Fourth of July concert is sponsored by McEnerney, Brady & Company, LLC.
Here are some other area July 4th fireworks displays:

A Montclair July 4th fireworks display will take place at Yogi Berra Stadium on Montclair State University’s campus. Gates open at 7 p.m. Free parking will be available at the Carparc Diem deck, adjacent to Floyd Hall Arena. Overflow vehicles will be directed to other parking areas. (Please note: the Red Hawk Parking Deck will be closed.) For more information, click here.

To get a taste of July 4th two days early, go to Essex County's Brookdale Park tonight at 7:30 p.m. for a concert by The Duprees and The Glenn Miller Orchestra and a fabulous fireworks display.

The Macy's Fourth of July Fireworks are back for the 36th year in a row on Wednesday in New York City. This year's event features a performance by Katy Perry. For more information, click here.

The Philly 4th of July Jam and Grand Finale Fireworks (Benjamin Franklin Parkway, 20th and Eakins Oval, 7-10 p.m.) hosts hip-hop/soul combo (and Late Night With Jimmy Fallon house band) The Roots. The festival’s Musical Director Ahmir “?uestlove” Thompson will perform alongside Queen Latifah, Daryl Hall, Common, Joe Jonas and more special guests, on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Following this spectacular performance will be a fireworks display over the Philadelphia Museum of Art. For more information, click here.
