The Verona Municipal Alliance Committee (VMAC) is holding its 10^th annual Family Night tomorrow to encourage residents to get out of the house and enjoy a night out as a family.

Local restaurants will be offering discounts to Verona families who don't want to cook at home. The Verona Municipal Alliance Committee will also have coupons available on its website.

Printed coupons were available at the Verona Public Library, Verona Community Center and Verona Town Hall beginning Oct. 12.

“The purpose of Family Night is to emphasize the importance of parental engagement fostered during frequent family dinners which is an effective tool to help keep America's kids substance free,” said committee chairperson Suzanne Broullon. “Family Night is to remind parents that dinner does make a difference.”

The Family Night poster was created by David Karpinski of the H.B. Whitehorne Middle School's Dream Team. The poster will be displayed in Family Night restaurants, schools, and town buildings.
