$4.5 million will be used for projects at Cedar Grove High School, South End School and North End School.

The Cedar Grove School District was recently named the recipient of more than $4.5 million worth of grants from the Christie Administration for projects at three Cedar Grove schools.

The $4,597,995 grant, via the state’s Schools Development Authority, will help pay for work at Cedar Grove (Memorial) High School, South End Elementary School and North End Elementary School.

At the high school, the grant will help pay for replacement of windows, doors, ceilings and roofs, as well as the installation of a new rooftop heating, ventilation and air conditioning system.

At both elementary schools, the monies will help pay for window replacement, doors and a roof.

The local share for the projects will be $6,896,993.
