Cedar Grove Rescue Squad Hosts CPR Class and Casino Trip
The Cedar Grove Ambulance and Rescue Squad will hold an American Heart Association First Aid course and a fundraising trip to Mount Airy Lodge in Pennsylvania.
The Cedar Grove Ambulance and Rescue Squad will be busy this weekend with first aid training courses and a trip to Mt. Airy Lodge.
The Rescue Squad will be offering an American Heart Association First Aid course from 9 am to 12 pm on Saturday October 27th, at the Squad building located at 651 Pompton Avenue.
They will be teaching the basics of first aid including basic principles, medical emergencies, injury management and environmental emergencies.
The training will cost $60 per person or combined First aid and CPR/AED for $85.

A trip to Mount Airy Lodge in Pennsylvania will benefit a longtime resident-couple in Cedar Grove with ever-mounting medical and related expenses, the squad said in a written statement.
The bus leaves at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 28 from Leonard R. Parks School. The trip will cost $40 per person, including $25 worth of slot play and a $10 food voucher.
