Broadway comes to Verona tonight when Joey Arminio and the Family will play music from the Great White Way as part of the Essex County Free Summer Music Concert Series at Kip’s Castle Park in Verona.

The event, sponsored by the Essex County Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs, will begin at 7 p.m. at the venue, located at 22 Crestmont Road in Verona.

“There will be a review of Broadway shows and dancing with concessions available,” said Kate Hartwik, Director of the Division of Cultural and Historic Affairs. “All sales will support the Kips Castle Park Conservancy.”

“The Summer Concert Series brings arts to all of our local venues and provides a free opportunity for families to see live entertainment,” she said.

The show will feature music from many different Broadway shows performed by Joey Arminio and the Family.

Those attending are being encouraged to bring a blanket to sit on for the performance.

A window tour will also take place at Kip’s Castle on Aug. 16.
