The Community Service Award Dinner will be held on Thursday, September 27 at the Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes.
“Senator O’Toole keeps in the tradition of our past honorees, with the work he has done to promote the lives of the citizens not only in the 40th District but in the State of New Jersey as a whole,” said Ramapo Valley District Chairman Joseph Schweighardt.
According to a written statement, The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation’s largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating in citizenship and develops personal fitness.
“The pride of being recognized as a Community Service Awardee goes beyond words,” said George Decker, who received the Community Service Award for 2011. “It is a privilege to present Senator O’Toole with the 2012 Award.”
