The Children’s Institute (TCI) Interview to Air on Autism Radio

Interviews of TCI’s CEO/Superintendent, Dr. Bruce Ettinger; Principal, Gina Catania; Program Supervisor, Kelly Cue; and Technology Teacher, Randall Palmer; will  be available for listening on the autsimradio.org website.

Autismradio.org was founded by Wharton resident, Paul Cimins.  Paul has a son who was diagnosed with autism, and he started autismradio.org with the goal to “Make a Difference in the Autism Community”.  It was also his wish to further his belief that “Hope Saves the Day”.  By description, Hope Saves The Day is a multimedia interactive open forum dealing with Autism broadcasted internationally. Autismradio.org, “Hope Saves the Day”, intends to provide information to the public about autism and related topics and provide an interactive network for the community. The format is an unbiased weekly broadcast that is published on the internet.  

The mission statement for autismradio.org is as follows: Autism Radio is a Non Profit Organization that is committed to making a difference in the Autism Community. Our Mission is to improve the lives of the individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their friends and families, who struggle to understand, treat, care for, and help find a cure for their loved one.

Autism Radio is dedicated to raising public awareness about Autism, and helping individuals, families, and society cope with struggles of this disorder. Our mission is to raise funds and distribute them to families in need who are dealing with the Autism Spectrum Disorder. We are committed to raising the funds necessary to support these goals.

About the Broadcast
The April 16th broadcast from The Children’s Institute will give a first hand look at the school’s wonderful program and includes sessions with their Staff.  Paul Cimins asked questions that parents wanted to know about finding the right program for their child with Autism.  TCI’s Computer Teacher, Randall Palmer was also interviewed to discuss the use of technology as an assistive approach for speaking and learning.
