To celebrate Earth Day this Sunday, April 22, Cupcakes by Carousel will donate 10% of the proceeds made from their delicious Dirt and Worm cupcake from its newly-opened Montclair bake shop on Earth Day to the Essex County Environmental Center in Roseland. • Dirty Worm – Chocolate cake, topped with chocolate fudge, dipped in Oreo crumbs, with a gummy worm on top. The Essex County Environmental Center is dedicated to creating awareness, understanding and appreciation of the environment and its relationship to Essex County residents.

After selling cakes wholesale for almost 30 years, Carousel Cakes, decided that it was time to branch out from the family bakery business founded in 1965 in Nanuet, NY and open a sister company to sell mini-versions of its cake creations – which can be found at more than 700 restaurants in the tri-state area including Zabar's, the private Friars Club, EJ's Luncheonette, the American Museum of Natural History and more.
