The Cedar Grove Historical Society Newsletter won first place in the Kevin M. Hale Annual Publications Award competition in the newsletter category.  The League of Historical Societies of New Jersey sponsored the competition.  Jean Jaeger, editor of the newsletter, is seen accepting the award from Jeff McVey, a member of the Florham Park Historical Society and a Board member for the League.  The award ceremony was held on Saturday, June 9, at the DANE (Danish Archive North East) site in Edison.
